teamplay - Connecting PACS DICOM Images

This video will introduce the installation and setup of a PAC system or a single DICOM node in teamplay.

Today we will have a look at how you can install and set up your pack system in team play. Or connect a single DICOM node. I am Steffen from Siemens Healthineers education team and let's get started. In the next few minutes we will have a look at how you configure. Teamplay in order to use teamplay images. Therefore, please also navigate to the receiver section of your institution either via receivers or via the setup assistant. Here you will see that in the section setup environment you also have a section that is dealing with team play images. Team play images also connects with cloud based applications of the teamplay digital health platform which are provided by Siemens, Healthineers or Partners that offer, for example, advanced image analytics or other services related to DICOM studies. Therefore, you can either follow the steps in the set of assistant and learn more about the necessary settings by clicking on learn more, or you can directly switch to the Dycom configuration page. And follow my instructions. Here you will again see the receivers that are currently running in your institution and by navigating to apps you will see that there is also a section for configuring all the necessary by company information for images. This page provides the DICOM storage and the DICOM query retrieve. As DICOM services, as you can see on the top, you can define team play images either as the service class user, so Stu or as the service class provider. For example for storage, which is the SCP. In order to use steamplay images, you can navigate to the. AE title per app and choose Team play images and here you will see that my E title is currently already set up. I can always go ahead and change this AE title regarding its name. I already modified the default name which is teamplay I share to fit my institution and which is now called teamplay image. Here you can also set the data retention. And the aesopi class filter. To use the AE title. You can just switch it to enabled. With the button up here you can add any knew a E title for team play images. With all the other applications you will do as I just demonstrated with the team play images he title. By using different AE titles, you will have the possibility to define within your remote DICOM connection where the data will be sent to and used. As with all settings, you will see that you have to restart your receiver in order to apply the changes.
