teamplay - Manage User Accounts

Not every user in your institution might need access to every application on team play. With user roles you can manage that access. We will have a look at how you can set up user roles. And assign them to different users. I am Steven from Siemens Healthineers education team and let's get started. Team play supports a flexible and configurable role model with different user roles within your institution. In order to change and access them, navigate to the main menu and select users roles and groups. In the top section, please go ahead and switch to user roles to access the role management. In team play, you have two predefined user roles. The institution administrators and the normal users. In order to adapt and change roles within the role management, please make sure that you are locked in as the administrator of your institution. In the role management view, you can go ahead and either change an existing role by clicking on the pencil. In the popup you will see which kind of permissions are currently granted to this role, and you can go ahead and change them. Or you can go ahead and add a completely new role. Click at new role and the same section will appear on the side. First of all. Type in a name for your nuro, which in my case will be testro. And then you can go ahead and assign the different permissions that you want to grant to this new role. In my case, I will give them the right to access the team Play application team, play usage. By hitting apply you will save these changes. If you have ever need to delete certain roles or. If you want to assign your new role to certain users. You will have to switch to the user section. In the user section you can either assign the user role via the pen symbol in the back. Or you can also go ahead and select different users if you have a group of users that you want to change and choose select action and assign roles and then you can do a bulk assignment of roles for a set of users. If you want to check which user roles are assigned to a certain user, you can either check it by other hand symbol. And see all the checkmarks for this user roles that are assigned. Or you will also see that underneath the name of your selected user.
