teamplay - Using Categories

With categories you can arrange your modalities in team play according to your work environment. We will have a look at how you can create categories and assign different modalities. I am Steven from Siemens Healthineers education team and let's get started. You can set up a set of categories that you can use to label your modalities. Please navigate to the main menu and select device administration. In the top section, please navigate to categories. The categories may, for example, reflect the Department structure which you can see here on the locations or for example the device type. In order to create a new category, please navigate to the top section and click in the field category name. I want to create a new category for a location which is the mountain spring. Subsidiary so I call it Mountain spring sub. I don't want to have a new main category, but I want to have that underneath hospital and locations. Since Mountain Springs up is one of our supplications. Here you can enable the category for data access. We have a separate video on how to use data access. In my case, I will leave this unchecked. By hitting at category the category will appear in your category tree. And here you can see the new mountain Springs suck category. To use the new category in your scanner list, navigate back to device administration. And select the enabled modalities. I will now search for my scanner that I want to have in my new category. Search for it and hit the pencil in the back. Here I will navigate to hospital location since I have created my new category here and select. The new Mountain spring suck category. To save the changes, I hit update modality. To assign more modalities to a category, you can also hit the check mark in the front, then select action, categorize and here you will also find your category tree in order to assign the Mountain spring sub category to another scanner. This new category can now for example be used in team play usage. By navigating via the main menu. To teamplay usage. You will now see in the filter section. Via categories. Deselect all categories hospital, then location. And you can select your newly created category Mountain Springs up and hit apply to the filter. And as you see, you only have the data from the two scanners available in your selection.
