This job aid provides instructions on how to manage lot information including entering reagent, control and linearity lots and their associated ranges.

UniPOC™ Data Management System SIEMENS Healthineers Add Lot Information Enter Reagent Lot Information EDIT REAGENT LOT: Main Hospital > All Departments > All Locations 1. Select Lots > Reagent 2. Locate the desired lot code and select Edit INPUT INFORMATION • If the lot code has not been recognized by the UniPOC software, users must select Add and manually enter the Reagent Type Glucose Test Strip V new lot code and reagent type Enter the Lot number * Lot Code 4ACH5H 3. 3 • The lot code and reagent type cannot be edited once a lot * Lot No. 4ACH5H code has been recognized by the UniPOC software Abbott Diabetes Care 4. Enter the additional required entry fields: In-Service Date and Manufacturer Expiration Date * In-Service Date 01/01/2021 31 5. Select the Download to Instruments checkbox to allow the Expiration Date 08/31/2021 31 4 Reagent Lot to be downloaded to instruments, if applicable • Only download reagent lots currently in use to ensure Download to Instruments instruments receive the appropriate reagent download list 5 6. Select a desired Lot No. checkbox 2. Select Edit Reagent Type Glucose Test Strip 3. Select Add 4. Select an analyte from the Analyte dropdown list, if Analyte GLU 4 applicable Reagent Type is a read-only field and cannot be Level • Low 5 edited 5. Select Low from the Level dropdown list 6 Range To 6. Enter the lower and upper values in the Range fields 7. Select the corresponding unit from the Unit dropdown Unit mg/dL V 7 list 8. Select Save 9. Repeat steps 3-8 to add normal and high level ranges 8 Save Cancel Note: For multi-analyte reagent entry, ranges must be entered per lot number per analyte in order to generate statistical reports.
