Using Patient Data for QC Statistics on the Atellica® Solution Job Aid Version 1.25 and Below

This job aid provides instructions on how to use patient data for QC statistics on the Atellica® Solution.

Atellica® Solution SIEMENS Using Patient Data for QC Statistics Job Aid Healthineers The Patient Median and Patient Mean features provide additional tools within QC Statistics to help monitor the performance of the system and troubleshoot systematic errors. The operator can collect patient result data on 1 or more analyzers in the configuration and use the data to perform QC for selected tests. To enable the monitoring of patient data for QC Statistics: 1. Navigate to QC > QC Statistics > Setup > Patient 2. Select a test (each test enabled for each Module Name has a separate entry) 3. To define the upper and lower limits for Patient Median and Mean analysis, specify an Upper Trim Limit and Lower Trim Limit 4. To define reference lines to display with patient sample QC data, specify Upper Line, Lower Line, and Ref Line 5. Select the Active checkbox to turn on data collection for the test on the specific analyzer 6. Select Save To view the patient control data: 1. Navigate to QC > QC Statistics > Analysis > Patient 2. View the data displayed for each average data point: Includes the date when the point was calculated, the data point, the test, and the analyzer 3.
