XPRF Fluoro Systems Configuration and Use of CARE Profile

In this video you will learn how to configure an utiliz care profile on your fluoro system. Care profile is radiation free collimation using the last image hold for orientation. With the care profile function, the position of the collimator blades are displayed graphically in the last image. In this way you can change the collimation without additional fluoroscopy. The duration of The display can be configured in the user settings under examination properties. Collimator display, in seconds, is how long the graphic will be on the screen. 0 means the display is off 1 to 10 seconds is configurable with 10 seconds as the typical default. Once you have determined the duration appropriate for your facility, Scroll down and select apply, then OK, then exit the user settings. To use care profile during an examination, operate the fluoroscopy switch on the hand grip or the foot pedal. When Fluoro is stopped, the current fluoroscopy image remains on the monitor. Operate a collimator button or the joystick. The collimator position and size is indicated on the last image hold with the next fluoroscopy or acquisition. The new collimation is applied.
