YSIO X.pree Re-composing Ortho Images

This job aid will guide users through the steps of how to re-compose ortho images.

YSIO X.pree: Re-composing Ortho Images XPRF Stitching/composing of the Ortho images is done automatically by the system. Stitching can be reviewed and re-composed in the “Viewing” tab. 1. Once all images are acquired, select the “Viewing” tab on the left side. The “Series Navigator” on the bottom right will display the individual images and the stitched image. Choose the stitched image and then select the “Composing” icon just above that in the “Static Tools”. Static Tools Series Navigator 2. Two images will appear in the center of the monitor. The one on the right is the full “Over- view” of the stitched image. Inside this image is a box that can be used to magnify areas of the stitched image. This box can be moved around to view different areas of the images. The one on the left is the “Detail Image”, the magnified view of the area inside the box on the right. The image can be “pinched” using two fingers to increase or decrease the size of it. In rare cases where transition areas have not been optimally reconstructed by the system, or when the patient moves during imaging, adjustments can be made manually. To ensure opti- mal reconstruction, evaluate each image overlap and adjust if needed. To do this, begin by choosing the “Cut” icon to see the overlap area more distinctly. 5. Next, adjust the box in the Overview image to better see the overlapping areas in the detail view. The white lines demonstrating the overlap area will turn orange when the box is moved over the corresponding overlap area. The orange lines represent the cut line being adjusted. Moving the box in the overview image to different image areas will allow for editing of different cut lines. 6. Use the editing tools to the right of the images make changes to the overlap areas. Images can be adjusted “side to side” or “up and down” via the arrows. Keep in mind that the number of pixels the image is adjusted is controlled by the “Step Size”. 7. When adjusting the uppermost overlap area, image number two will move in the direction of the button being selected. Any images attached below will move along with it. 8. Repeat these steps for any subsequent overlap areas that need adjustment. The newly composed images are saved automatically and can be sent to PACS in the “Distribution” tab.
