Cardiovascular Workflow Job Aid AI-Rad Companion This document introduces the workflow steps with the Cardiovascular extensions in AI-Rad Companion. 1. Cardio functionality 1. After activating the Cardio functionality, scroll through the data set in the 2D segment in order to see the yellow patches indicating coronary calcium. The 3D segment also shows the heart segments affected by coronary calcium with yellow patches. 3. The table below the 3D segment shows the amount of calcium and heart volume. Decide for all findings to accept or decline them by clicking the button corresponding to your decision: Click Decline All if you disagree with the findings. They will be marked as declined in the Results list, will be deleted and will not be sent to the PACS. Leave the state on Accepted if you accept the finding. V Accept All Decline All 5. At any time during the workflow you can suspend the case by clicking on the Suspend button. In this case you can return to the To be Confirmed list. If you then open the patient case again, all your prior decisions on the findings will be shown. If you made all your decisions on the findings, click the Send to PACS button. The patient case will be closed and the data will be sent to the PACS. Vascular functionality 1. After activating the Vascular functionality, in the 3D segment you can see the segmented images of the aorta with nine landmarks, defined by the American Heart Association. 1/8 AL 2. Scroll through the nine cross-sectional images at these landmarks in the 2D segment. The table below the 3D segment shows the diameters for each landmark. These diameters are automatically compared to threshold values predefined in the Configuration menu and are color-coded if these thresholds are exceeded. The categories are based on reference values measured on a large number of patient population at each landmark.
