Analyzing Microalbumin/Creatinine Samples Video

This video provides instructions on how to analyze Microalbumin/Creatinine samples on your DCA Vantage® Analyzer, including loading samples and printing results.

Open the reagent cartridge compartment door to insert the Microalbumin creatinine cartridge. With the barcode facing to the right, insert the reagent cartridge into the cartridge compartment. Press gently until a snap is heard or felt. The cartridge is designed to only fit one way into the system. Do not try to force the cartridge into the compartment. Insert the plunger into the hole at the top of the capillary Holder. Depress the plunger into the capillary Holder until it locks into the capillary Holder. Using a smooth, slow, continuous motion, pull the flexibel pull tab completely out of the reagent cartridge. Close the door and dispose of the flexible pull tab. If the door is closed before the flexible plastic tab is removed, you have 5 seconds to re open the door and pull the tab. After the 5 second delay, a beep sounds an the essay begins. The sample data menu screen displays when the system detects the cartridge door is closed after the 5 second delay. The screen then indicates a test is in progress. Data can be entered during testing if the data entry option has been enabled and configured. Tests can be cancelled at anytime by selecting cancel. If a test in progress is cancelled, the sample must be discarded. Once the test is completed, results are displayed on screen. A printed copy can be generated by selecting the print button. You now have learned how microalbumin creatinine samples are analyzed on the DCA Vantage analyzer.
