Identify the Daily Maintenance Tasks Clean the SG Well by placing a tube of bleach into the STAT holder and selecting Clean SG Well from the Main Menu. Check the supply of reagent strips by reviewing the Ready for Testing screen. List the Periodic Maintenance Tasks Change the reagent roll when the supply is low or every 14 days. Note:  After cleaning the readhead sockets, you must recalibrate the instrument and run controls. Loading a New Reagent Roll Learn about loading a new reagent roll. To prepare Rinse Solution: Empty any solution from the rinse bottle.  Clean this bottle thoroughly or use a fresh one.  Fill it with 1000 mL of distilled or deionized water.  Add 2mL of CLINITEK Atlas Rinse Additive and swirl gently to mix.  Replace the rinse bottle. Note:  Calibration is optional if the last calibration was performed within the previous 24 hours and the lot number of the reagent roll has not changed.  In this case, only the SG Well needs to be cleaned.
