Follow the instructions on the screen. Select an Enable option for each control lot that you want to use. To change a lot number or add a lot number, select Change for the control that you enabled. Follow the instructions on the screen. After placing the rack of controls on the rack handler select Start to begin the run. Locate and review quality control results At the end of the control run, results are located on the Results Details screen. Review each result to determine if the control results are acceptable. To review results at the end of a QC run: If your instrument utilizes the Control Check feature to check the upper and lower reporting limits for controls, the CLINITEK Novus™ system will flag any results that are out of the expected range.       Note: If the Control Check feature is disabled, the instrument will not flag abnormal results. If your instrument is not setup to flag results that are out of the expected range, utilize the expected control values from the QC package insert to determine whether the control results are acceptable. To recall the Control Results Details screen at another time, from the Home screen, select Results > Control and select the search criteria.
