Compose/Combine (XA30)

The composer panel offers two methods of reconstructing overview images within GNU compose methods. You can perform composing in order to create composite images for sagittal or coronal orientations. The new combined method enables you to combine images in order to include all images in one series. This is applicable for transverse image orientations. In order to start the compose Combine option, choose in the image area of Mr View and go the images to be evaluated and click the compose combined icon in the favorite tool panel. The system recognizes automatically the appropriate orientation of the images and the composer panel opens a dialog box with either create new composition or create new combining proposal. By clicking on the confirm result icon, the new series is saved and added to the viewing step at the end of the layout. Remember, if composing or combining fails to calculate a result, the two results segments will remain empty. If you want to determine why composing failed, please check the message history in the status bar, which will contain a corresponding info message. Depending on the software version, an information dialog might also appear to inform you why composing failed.
