The CT Advanced Scanning Techniques class provides the experienced Siemens’ CT user with in-depth training on advanced system capabilities and examination procedures specific to the Definition AS, Edge, Flash, Drive, and Force systems. Through the use of lectures, instructor-led demonstrations, and hands-on labs using simulation consoles, participants will review scan acquisition and reconstruction parameters, protocol management, dose reduction features, anatomy, contrast administration, and a variety of post-processing strategies. Workflow for advanced examination procedures including CT Angiography, Neuro Perfusion, Intervention, Single Source and Dual Source Dual Energy, Cardiac CTA and TAVR will be reviewed and discussed.
NOTE: Examinations will be performed on simulation consoles using anonymized patient data. Live patients will NOT be scanned.
Prior participation in a Siemens' CT Basic syngo® class and/or a minimum of 6 months clinical experience is not mandatory but highly recommended.
