The Basic syngo® CT course is designed for the CT technologist who has little or no experience on the Siemens CT user interface. Lectures and hands-on sessions will introduce the technologist to the basic software operation as implemented on Siemens multislice CT system including patient database management, viewing (2D) evaluation, filming, and 3D postprocessing (MPR, MIP, SSD, VRT). The relationship between the various possible selections of available scanning parameters and their effect on image quality will be discussed. With scanning simulation software, an overview of the basic principles of scanning including scan protocol creation and customization on the syngo platform will be included.
