CT Cardiac Imaging Class

The two-day Cardiac CT Imaging Class for imaging professionals will focus on the principles, clinical applications, scanning workflow, and latest advances of cardiac CT imaging. The class format is a combination of lectures, presentations, and simulator-based hands-on sessions set in an interactive classroom environment.

Course Objectives:
  1. Describe requirements for cardiac CT scanning
  2. Appreciate patient preparation
  3. Explain and apply cardiac CT workflow
  4. Choose the right cardiac CT protocol based on the patient’s heart rate
  5. Define cardiac CT dose reduction methods
  6. Describe cardiac anatomy

Target Audience:
CT Technologists

Prerequisite Courses: This class is designed for CT imaging professionals who have experience using the syngo® user interface of the Siemens’ contemporary CT scanners. Prior participation in a Siemens’ CT Basic syngo® class or a minimum of 6 months clinical experience is not mandatory but highly recommended.
