Replacing IMT Pump Tubing Video

The IMT pump tubing is replaced monthly to compensate for wearing and stretching. With the instrument in standby, press pause to stop the sampling system. Raise the IMT lid. From the operating menu, press F for system prep. F3 IMT. F3 align prime. Turn the pressure plates foot bar 1/4 turn and lift to remove. After opening the pressure plates, remove an replace the X tubing located around the top of the pump. Pull to fit the ends of the tubing into place. Close the pressure plates, reinsert the pressure plates, foot bar and turn 1/4 turn to lock in the pressure plates, press pause to restart the sampling system. Press F1, Prime salt bridge solution, press home on the touch screen to return to the operating menu. You can also access the operating menu screen by holding down the shift key and pressing. Exit the system automatically performs an IMT pump alignment and IMT calibration. Document the replacement on the monthly maintenance log sheet.
