epoc® Enterprise Data Manager Reports Online Training Course

Reports includes describing how to navigate the Electronic QC page, the Thermal QA reports page and the Usage Statistics reports page and how to view patient demographics via the patients list (ADT) reports page. 

Welcome to the epoc® Enterprise Data Manager Reports online training course. The Enterprise Data Manager allows the epoc Administrator to access the following reports via the Reports tab located at the top of the screen: Electronic QC Thermal QA  Usage Statistics Patient List (ADT) .  Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: Describe how to navigate the Electronic QC reports page  Describe how to navigate the Thermal QA reports page Describe how to navigate the Usage Statistics reports page Describe how to view patient demographics via the Patients List (ADT) reports page Congratulations. Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz. Electronic QC Reports Electronic Quality Control is performed on each epoc® Reader before each blood test is performed. Electronic QC records can be accessed from the reports tab on the top of the page. To access Electronic QC data: Select Reports Select Electronic QC Select one or multiple readers from the dropdown menu Select a date range Select Prinatable report or Save as CSV file to print the report ​Thermal QA Reports To view and print Thermal QA reports: Select Reports Select Thermal QA Select one or multiple readers from the drop-down menu Select a date range from the menu  Select Printable report or Save as CSV file to print the report ​Usage Statistics Reports The Usage Statistics page offers reports that can be viewed according to different system elements: epoc® Reader, epoc® Host, epoc® Card Lot, and by the Operator.   These reports include the following information: 1. The total number of Test Cards used. 2. Percentage of successful test runs. 3. Percentage of unsuccessful test runs due to iQC failures. 4. Percentage of unsuccessful test runs due to stopped or incomplete Tests. 5. Additional information such as date and time of most recent test run, date and time of the most recent epoc Reader EQC run and result, date and time of last epoc Host upload, and date and time of the last test performed by the operator.   Select the appropriate button at the bottom of the page to create views for different system elements.   Data may be filtered by Date, Blood Tests only, QA Tests only, and by All Tests. Reports may be generated by selecting the Printable Report or Save as CSV file button at the bottom of the page. Patients List (ADT) The option of viewing Patient Demographics is enabled via EDM Settings page.When Show patients list (ADT) is checked, the menu item Patients list (ADT) becomes available under the Reports menu. This page contains all available patient demographics information obtained from an optional ADT feed.   Electronic Quality Control is performed on each epoc® Reader before each blood test is performed. Electronic QC is also performed every time a reader and host connect. Electronic QC will be prompted if a test card has not been run on a reader within an 8-hour period.
