Exporting and Importing Patient Data All Biograph Systems Description: This step by step document will assist the user in using the PET/CT Export Tool to export and import PET raw data and images and CT images to and from offline media on all Biograph systems. Configuring the Export Series Types: 1. From the Examination tab menu, select Options à Configuration àPET Examination à Export Series Types. 2. Check the series types desired for export. 3. When the PET/CT Export tool is launched from the Patient Browser, these series types will automatically be selected for export. To Export Data to USB: 1. Insert the USB device. 2. Open the Patient Browser 3. Select the Patient and Exam folder. If you desire just to export individual series, you can select individually. 4. Click the Export button or select Patient à Export PET/CT Data. In the PET/CT Export Data Tool, make sure that the data that you desire to be exported in selected. 6. Select the Logical Name from the pull down menu. 7. Select the USB path. 8. If you would like to Anonymize the patient data, check the “Export Anonymously” box. 9. Enter the name of the Anonymized data. 10. Click Export. Use the Local Job Status to monitor status of the data export. 12. To safely eject the USB, click the USB icon in the status bar and select Safely Eject PNP Device. Insert a blank CD or DVD into the DVD recorder of the syngo Acquisition Workplace. 2. Open the Patient Browser and select the desired series. 3. Select Transfer à Export To in the Patient Browser menu. 4. When the Export To window appears, verify the selected patient data and click Export. 5. Enter the appropriate name on the Label on Medium field in the Enter Label window. 6. Click OK to export the data. 7. When data transfer is complete, select Finalize Medium and Eject from CD_DVD button. IV -OR- Using this option does offer anonymizing the patient data. 1. Insert a blank CD or DVD into the DVD recorder of the syngo Acquisition Workplace. 2. Open the Patient Browser and select the desired series. 3. In the Patient Browser menu, pull down Patient à Export PET/CT Data or use the Export PET/CT Data button. 4. When the PET/CT Export Data Tool window appears, verify the patient data selected. 5. If you would like to Anonymize the patient data, check the “Export Anonymously” box. 14. Enter the name of the Anonymized data. 15. Click Export. Select Options à File Browser from the Examination Task Card. 17. Verifly that the data resides in the H:\SiteData|CDBurn\ location. 18. Clear the jobs within the local and network job queues. 19. From the Patient Browser, select Transfer à Record Offline Files. 20. If you would like to include a DICOM viewer with the data, select it. 21. Once the export is complete, the CD/DVD wil automatically eject. Insert the CD/DVD into the syngo Acquisition Workplace. 2. Open the Patient Browser 3. Select the data to import from the CD/DVD. 4. Click the Import PET/CT Data button or select Patient à Import PET/CT Data 5. Choose the appropriate Logical Name, Path, and File Type. 6. Choose the files you would like to import. 6. Click Import.
