How to Use t-MIP for Respiratory Gating Image Evaluation CT for Radiation Oncology Workflow t-MIPs or Temporal Maximum Intensity Projections are useful for evaluating tumors of the thorax in respiratory gated images. The t-MIP displays the maximum – or minimum – gray value seen within the images and includes all time points and breathing phase in- formation. 1.
