Components of the Innovision Audio and Innovision Display systems are located both in the examination room and the control room. It is important to pay attention to the intended location of each component as some components are not MR Safe and must not be taken into the examination room (including the MR system) under any circumstances. The safety, MR compatibility, efficacy and electromagnetic emissions of the Innovision Audio and Innovision Display systems cannot be guaranteed should the system be modified, operated with non-Innovere components or used in a way other than specified in this operator manual. Use of the Innovision Audio or Innovision Display system with patients who have metallic implants is not permitted. According to EU regulation 2017/745 (MDR), any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the EU Member State in which the user and/or patient is established. Metal Disclaimer - The MRI restrictions (if any) of the metal implant must be considered prior to patient undergoing MRI exam. When you see the low battery indication on a single battery, whole pairs of batteries should be changed for fully charged ones. The indicator lights turn solid white, if the batteries are inserted correctly (4) and are being charged. Ensure that the battery compartment on the PPD is sealed to 5) Pull back the battery clip and insert a battery into a slot - avoid Loss in Image Quality. one battery at a time. 6) Place the lid back on the PPD. 7) Close the battery lever. When the lever is released, the lid will latch. Observe the Operator Manual and make yourself familiar with all safety related items and the terms of use of the equipment. Simultaneous powering of two pillows may disrupt the audio communication. Do not power on a pillow while another pillow is already in use. Risk of tissue heating and burns when using the MR Conditional pillow with transmit-receive head coils! Do not use the pillow with transmit-receive head coils. Use the head coil pillow only with 20-channel, 32-channel and 64-channel head and neck coils. Loss of MR image quality when using the standard pillow for applications other than head and neck applications. Use the head coil pillow only for head and neck applications. Use the PPD only on a patient table that has a height limit installed. Do not place hand or fingers on the mirror arch during the process of arch stowing. Failure to remove the PPD when using a dockable patient table! Unmount the PPD before undocking and moving the dockable patient table of the MR system. • Charge the battery only with the battery charger that was supplied with your Innovision system. • Use the battery only during its specified lifetime. • Avoid damage, overheating, and contact with fluids. • Do not crush, submerge or open batteries. • Only use the batteries if the enclosure is intact, undamaged and dry. Interaction with other equipment Only use the Innovision system in the configuration suggested in the operator manual! The plug symbol on the audio bridge (control room) turns green. The wireless symbol on the audio bridge (control room) is blinking blue indicating it is ready to connect with the console unit.  Insert one Innovision battery into the audio bridge (examination room). On the audio bridge (examination room), press the Power button. The wireless symbol on the audio bridge (examination room) is blinking blue indicating it is trying to connect with the corresponding audio bridge (control room).  Place the standard pillow or head coil pillow on the patient table of the MR system where you intend the patient to lay.  On the pillow in use, press the Power button. The wireless symbol on the pillow is blinking blue indicating it is trying to connect with the corresponding audio bridge (examination room). The wireless symbols on the pillow, the audio bridge (examination room) and the audio bridge (control room) turn solid blue when these three components are connected. The wireless symbol on the video bridge (control room) is blinking blue indicating it is ready to connect with the corresponding video bridge (examination room).  Ensure the video bridge (control room) is connected to the console unit via HDMI cable.  Insert two Innovision batteries into the video bridge (examination room).  On the video bridge (examination room), press the Power button. The wireless symbol on the video bridge (examination room) is blinking blue trying to connect with the corresponding video bridge (control room). Once connected to the video bridge (control room), the video bridge (examination room) will turn solid blue. The wireless symbol on the PPD is blinking blue indicating it is ready to connect with the video bridge (examination room). The wireless symbol on the PPD turns solid blue when connected to the video bridge (examination room). Congratulations. The Innovision system components are turned on and connected. The system is now fully functional and ready to use. Now, it is time to examine your patient. You can use the pages 16-21 as a checklist. Before scanning it is advisable to go through the following Checklist, to prepare Innovision system, prepare and place patient, mount PPD:  Install Table Adapters  Lower Table >30cm, install the PPD  Position the required pillow on the Table  Start and Check all Innovision components  Solid blue lights in the connected components  Batteries level high enough  Prepare the patient for the examination  Provide the patient earplugs  Place fresh pillow covers on the Innovision pillow  Position the patient on the table, taking care also about correct positioning into Innovision pillows  Position the PPD over the patient When all the steps are checked, you are ready to perform your examination. Changing the volume of the entertainment does not change the volume of the auto- voice or operator voice. Communication with the patient during the MR examination can be done as normal with the intercom of the MR system and auto-voice commands. When using the head coil pillow, you may need to use the head coil foam spacers to secure the patient’s head in the pillow and coil. Place the head coil foam spacers in between the pillow and coil. Ensure that the patient is able to see the entire screen and adjust the mirror angle accordingly. Patient positioning is complete, the examination can start. If necessary, use the MR Safe glasses (optional). To determine which correction lenses are needed, perform the Innovision eye test, shown in the Operator Manual.  Ask the patient for their preferences before you start their entertainment.  Select the patient's entertainment choice on the console unit before entering the examination room. This option will appear in the upper right corner of the display in addition to the clock that always appears in the video output. 1) Tap the Timer button in the right upper corner to open the timer menu. 0:00:00 2) Select the hour, minute or second field and tap on the keypad to set the Off countdown. 2 or – – : 05 ): 11 O 3) Tap on the +5 Sec, +10 Sec or +60 Sec buttons to add them to the countdown. 3 1 2 3 Quick Add or – +5 Sec – 5 6 +10 Sec O 4) Tap on the Bin icon to delete the hour, minute and second fields and select 4 9 +60 Sec another countdown. 5 O 0:04:47 6 5) Tap the START button when the timer is set.
