Manually Removing CH Reagent Packs from the Gripper Video Version 1.25 and Below

This video will explain how to manually remove CH reagent packs from the gripper on the Atellica CH Analyzer.

To remove a Ch reagent pack from the gripper on the atellica Ch analyzer, the analyzer must be stopped to stop the analyzer. First select system on the command bar. Next, select status. Then select the Atellica chemistry analyzer icon. If the analyzer is not already stopped, select the pause button to allow the system to complete any testing currently in process. The system will pause and then go to start state. Finally, select the button to unlock the front or back cover according to the gripper location. Open the cover. Once the system is stopped. You must open the cover within 30 seconds of unlocking, otherwise the cover will relock. To release the pack from the gripper, first grasp the bottom of the pack with one hand. Next using the other hand and a small flat edge screwdriver, turn the red screw on top of the gripper counterclockwise. Remove the pack. Do not pull the pack out on an angle from the gripper or it can result in contamination of the area. When the red screws loose and the pack should fall downward, an out of the gripper. Finally, using the screwdriver, turn the red screw clockwise until the gripper is closed. To complete the procedure, close the cover. Lastly, select the resume button in the software. If the pack is undamaged, reload the pack onto the analyzer.
