Manually Removing IM Reagent Packs from the Gripper Video Version 1.25 and Below

This video will explain how to manually remove IM reagent packs from the gripper on the Atellica IM Analyzer.

To remove an I am reagent pack from the gripper on the atellica I am analyzer. The system must be placed into stop state to stop the system. First select system on the command bar. Next select status. Then select the Atellica Immunoassay analyzer icon, select the pause button. This will allow the system to complete any current tasks and wait for processing tests to complete. The instrument will transition from pause to stop. Next, select the button to unlock the front or back cover according to the gripper location. Open the cover. Once the system is paused, you must open the cover within 30 seconds of unlocking, otherwise, the cover will relock to release the I am reagent pack from the gripper. First grasp the bottom of the pack firmly, then move the pack lengthwise toward the center of the system. Rotate the back of the pack downward and out of the gripper. Do not pull a pack out sideways from the gripper. Pulling a pack out sideways results in contamination of the area or disruption of the gripper orings to complete the procedure. Close the cover. Lastly, select the resume button in the software. If the pack is undamaged, reload the pack onto the analyzer.
