Register Patient a. Program Selection > select Hip Protocol I. Complete all mandatory fields b. Select Exam button 2. Exam UI a. Localizer (e.g., AAHip_Scout) I. Select GO – AAHip_Scout Runs b. Add a New Localizer Sequence to Queue I. Double Left Click > Open Localizer II. Select Details View Icon (only if using a Dot Engine Protocol) III. Angle Slices off both Coronal and Axial Images as shown IV. Depress Left Mouse > Move Mouse Down • Increases Number of Slice Groups • Reduces Angle between Slice Groups • Release Left Mouse – Number and Angle of Slice Groups automatically updated f. Move Radial Slices Over Joint I. Confirm “Group Graphics” is activated in “Fly Out Toolbar” g. Hint: Select F1 > Rename sequence to “Radial Slices” h. Select GO – Radial Sequence Runs RP Go 3. Select Dot Cockpit Icon a. Select User > Hip Protocol b. Select Edit Icon I. Depress Left Mouse > Drag Localizer Created into Protocol II. Depress Left Mouse > Drag Radial Sequence Created into Protocol c. Select Save Program Icon d. Close Dot Cockpit – Sequences saved to Dot Cockpit Note: To create Radial Slices for a Shoulder Exam repeat the steps above. However, you must angle to the glenoid cartilage.
