Replacing the Dryer Nozzle on the Atellica® CH Analyzer Video Version 1.25 and Below

video will show you the steps on how to replace the Atellica Chemistry analyzer dryer nozzle. In order to change the dryer nozzle, the system needs to be put into diagnostic state. This can be done by selecting system in the command bar. Next, select operator diagnostics. Select the chemistry module icon. Select enter diagnostics. Select yes in subsystems. Select probes. Select one of the following, replacing dilution washer dryer nozzle or replacing reaction washer dryer nozzle. Select perform. Select yes, wait for the analyzer to prepare for maintenance. The covers automatically unlock. Open the back cover of the Ch module if the covers relock before you were able to open it, select the button in the software to unlock the back cover. There is one dryer nozzle for the dilution ring and another dryer nozzle for the reaction ring. The two dryer nozzles are interchangeable. Before starting to remove one of the dryer nozzles, cover the cue vets with a paper towel to protect them from debris. Unscrew the probe housing assembly by turning the thumb screw counterclockwise. To access wash probes, lift the wash station up and turn it over. Locate the appropriate dryer nozzle probe. Turn the nozzle left or right and pull it out to remove dispose of the nozzle per laboratory protocol. Insert new nozzle onto the probe and turn until it clicks into place. Place the probe housing back onto the analyzer. Tighten the thumb screw clockwise. Remove the paper towel. Close the back cover. Select continue, select close, select exit diagnostics. Select yes, select the maintenance tab on the Command bar, select schedule. Select the Ch module in the dropdown menu, select, replacing the reaction or dilution dryer nozzle. Select the mark as completed button on the right hand side of the screen. To complete the procedure, perform Ch auto check in operator Diagnostics, wait for auto check to complete and pass before analyzing samples.
