This job aid describes how to resolve sample probe integrity errors on the Atellica® IM Analyzer.

Atellica® IM Analyzer SIEMENS Healthineers Resolving Sample Probe Integrity Errors Job Aid Issue: Sample Probe Integrity Errors Description: The Sample probe is unable to aspirate fluid from the sample tube due to clot detection, insufficient sample, or level sense. Online Help Reference: IM Event Troubleshooting > Check the sample integrity Troubleshooting Steps: 1. Check if the patient sample is of poor quality: unload the appropriate sample and ensure the sample has no clots or fibrin. If necessary, collect and load a new sample 2. Test the IM sample probe subsystem in Operator Diagnostics: A. Select System > Operator Diagnostics > the appropriate IM Analyzer B. Select Enter Diagnostics and then wait for analyzer to enter diagnostic state C. Select Subsystems > Sample Probe D. Select Initialize Probe E. Select Perform > Yes F.
