Atellica® IM Analyzer SIEMENS Healthineers Resolving Waste Subsystem Issues Job Aid Issue: Issue with the waste subsystem Description: Waste vacuum out of range / waste bottles may or may not have liquid waste Online Help Reference: Troubleshooting System Issues > Issue with the waste subsystem Troubleshooting Steps: 1. Shutdown and restart the IM analyzer: A. Navigate to System > Status > analyzer icon and select B. If no tests processing, select Yes C. If tests processing, select the appropriate shutdown option D. Wait for the analyzer status to display "Not connected to PCC.“ E. Ensure the software is shutdown as indicated by the computer’s green power light no longer being visible NOTE: If the IM analyzer power is off: For > 30 minutes, unload, manually mix, and reload all onboard reagents F. Turn off the power switch to the analyzer For > 2 hours, discard any onboard reagents G. Wait 30 seconds before restarting the analyzer H. To restart the analyzer, power on the analyzer and wait for the analyzer’s module display to come up. Ensure the analyzer is in Ready or Standby State 1 2.
