Respiratory Gating/4DCT Virtual Classroom

This virtual instructor-led training is intended for the imaging or therapy professional interested in performing 4DCT/Respiratory Gating examinations in the evaluation of lung lesions for radiation therapy planning. Following a high-level introduction to the basics of CT data acquisition, the principle methods of 4DCT scanning – respiratory triggering and respiratory gating – will be compared and contrasted. Participants will learn about unique features used in the evaluation of respiratory gated images, like cine/motion viewing, Average CT, and temporal MIPs (tMIP). Hardware and software solutions from ANZAI, Varian, and C-RAD will be presented, and Siemens multi-modality oncology evaluation software MM RT Image Suite will be demonstrated.
