Striatal analysis can quantify scans for SPECT. DAT scan and pet. The striatal analysis workflow allows the users to create their own database of normal ratios. An additional step is provided to compare current patients as striatal ratios against an age and sex corrected normal population. Before using the striatal analysis software, be sure to perform a visual read of the patient data set. In striatal analysis, the workflow steps are listed in the upper left corner, Fusion to template analysis and Fusion to see T if a see T is available. The Fusion 2 template workflow step will fuse the patient data set to the ratio analysis template. To manipulate the images, use the toolbar on the top of the screen. To scroll through the images, use the image sliced text in the lower right corner of the segment. Click and drag the text or down to scroll the scroll wheel also scrolls through the images. To pan or zoom, use the icons in the upper left corner. To view the Fusion, click the transparency icon and move the mouse pointer to the left or right to view the registration. To adjust the registration manually, click the manual Fusion icon. To manually fuse the data set, click and hold to pen the patient data set. To rotate their data set, click the green circle. To revert back to automatic Fusion, click the revert to automatic Fusion icon. The Fusion can also be based on a pet to PET or CT to see T. To use a different method, click the icon and the automatic Fusion begins. A status bar is provided in the lower right corner. The analysis workflow step provides a view of the three Axis planes Australia. It'll tab as well as a region of interest quantification table. The table provides the ratio, mean maximum and average ratio for the regions of interest. The normalization region is currently set to Osip, it'll lobe. To change the normalization region from the list, select the normalization region. The regions of interest are currently all highlighted and displayed on the data sets. To visualize more regions of interest from the normalization region selection list, select the appropriate regions. Note normalization region cannot be changed if a database is selected for analysis in the striatal workflow. For both SPECT and pet. The striate leroys are set automatically. By default they are unlinked. To adjust a Roy click edit Roy, click and hold to Pan the Roy. To rotate the Roys, click the circle. To link the striate leroys, click link left and right Roy for editing. To display the striatal box, click striatal box. To go back to the automatic positions, click the reset striatal Roy. Striatal analysis also provides the opportunity to manage databases by creating custom databases, editing custom databases and reviewing custom databases. To create a new database, click the databases list in the menu and select create new database. A dialog box appears asking for information on the database. Enter the database name, a description, and select the settings. The proportion of the brightest voxels determines which voxels inside the selected normalization region are used when normalizing the subjects in the database and the patients to be compared to the database. Click the create icon. Once all data is entered. To add a patient to the database, click the databases list an select add current subject to database. The activity is grayed out if the Fusion 2 normal workflow step has not yet been passed. Select the appropriate database that the patient should be added to. A dialog box opens. Confirm that the information is correct and click add. A dialog box appears indicating that the subject was successfully added to the database. To manage the databases from the databases List, select manage databases. A dialog box appears listing all the databases available in database comparison. To view a database, select the database and click the view icon. The View Database feature provides basic information such as the number of patients and age range. Two sets of images are also provided. The main uptake shows the main uptake of every voxel in the database. The mean of all subjects that compose the database. The standard deviation shows the standard deviation of every voxel to the mean. To close the overview, click close. To edit a database, select a created database and click edit. The title and description may be edited and subjects can be removed from the database. Once editing is complete, click OK. Created databases can also be deleted by selecting the database and clicking the delete icon. A dialog box appears asking you to confirm the deletion. Click OK to delete the database. Once a database is created the next time the striatal analysis software is started, the reference brain selection dialog box opens and the user can choose the custom database. The analysis workflow step provides a graph to illustrate the patients deviation from the custom database. The table is updated with patient reference values and the Z score. Note, no graph is shown in pet striatal analysis. To create a snapshot of the screen, click the snapshot screen icon. The snapshot is added to the key images as well as to the findings navigator. To create a snapshot of an individual segment, click the required segment and click the snapshot segment icon. For more information on ratio analysis and the tools and functions available, click the Help list an select the help file to open the online help. To view the snapshots or to complete the examination, enter the case Navigator by moving the mouse pointer over the left Arrow key. To view a snapshot, double click the icon in the findings Navigator.
