Sysmex UF-1000i™ Cleaning the SRV Video
This video provides instructions on how to properly clean the SRV on the Sysmex UF-1000i™ Urine Cell Analyzer.
The sample rotor valve should be cleaned monthly or every 9000 cycles. Begin by turning off the power to the main unit. Wait one minute before continuing to allow the pressure to drop. Open the front cover of the instrument. Locate the sample rotor valve. Turn the fixing screw counterclockwise and remove the screw from the mounting shaft. Remove the front fixed plate. Be careful not to lose the washer. Remove the sample rotor valve by twisting and gently pulling it off. This valve is held in place by suction an can be difficult to separate. Replace the sample rotor valve onto the instrument, making sure that the metal nob is between the valve switching plates on the right. Next, replace the washer, an front fixed plate. Turn the fixing screw clockwise to tighten it against the shaft with a gap of approximately 1 millimeter. Remove the SRV tray. Clean with gauze soaked with distilled water. Place the tray back into position. Close the front cover. And turn on the main unit and select the restart button.
