System Cleanup and Shutdown Biograph Horizon and Horizon Flow Edition Description: This step by step procedure will assist the user in activating system clean- up and shutdown on the Biograph Horizon and Horizon Flow Edition scanners. This pro- cedure should be completed once weekly to clean up and defragment disks. This proce- dure may take up to 2-3 hours but can be cancelled at any time. 1. Exit all examinations and applications and make sure system is in an idle state. 2. Remove all media from the syngo MI Acquisition Workplace and syngo MI Work- place computers. 3. On the syngo Acquisition Workplace console, select System à Run à System Cleanup and Shutdown. 4. After several seconds, the following window will display. System Clean Up and Shutdown The system clean up may take a few hours. After clean up the system wil automatically shut down. You may stop the system cleanup at any time by using the "Cancer" button. The system will then shut down. Remember to turn off the power for the complete system at the control box buton and then proceed with the normal start up procedure. Start Cancel 5. Click the Start button to start the cleanup and shutdown procedure. 6. After the cleanup is complete, the CT scanner, syngo Acquisition Workplace, IRS, and MARS will shutdown.
