TX/RX Head Coil: Operation with Spine Coil Removal syngo MR Systems with E-line or Numaris X Software 1. Utilization of the TX/RX (Transmit/Receive) Head Coil requires removal of the spine coil during setup 2. Remove any coils or pads at head of table 3. Lift up the cushion flap at the base/foot of the spine coil to locate plug and coil release 4. Underneath the handle the release can be pressed towards the magnet bore. 5. While pressing this release, lift lever release (2) up and towards magnet to release the table from the coil plugs (3) 6. With lever up, slide coil towards magnet bore to remove coil from grooves. 7. Use carrying handles (1) on side to lift and remove spine coil from table 8. Slide the coil guides located on each side of the oil into the front lateral recesses of the head end of the patient table 10. Place pads on table and utilize dedicated head cushion in lower part of coil Head-Spine table pad Head cushion (1) (2) 11. Locate the Plug stored in the Cable Fixation (6) and plug (3) (4) into Coil Socket 1 (1) (5) 12. Press Releases (1) on both sides simultaneously and lift (6) Upper Part of Coil (2) up 13. Position patient in Lower Part of Coil (5) 14. Place Upper Part of Coil (2) back on and make sure it is secure 15. Align laser-light for positioning to Center Marking (4) of coil 16. Utilize Mirror (3) attachment as necessary 17.
