Welcome to the CLINITEK® AUWi (Automated Urinalysis Workcell) System Overview Online Training course. The CLINITEK® AUWi system: Combines the CLINITEK Atlas® Urine Chemistry Analyzer and the Sysmex UF-1000i™ Urine Cell Analyzer through the use of the Track system for sample transport Utilizes the Urinalysis WAM software for data management This course will introduce you to the main components of the CLINITEK® AUWi system as well as the sample processing workflow. Select Next to continue.    Describe the sample processing workflow on the system Identify the main components of the CLINITEK AUWi system Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to: Select Next to continue. When reconstruction is completed, image data is transferred to the InSpace task card and is displayed there for manipulation. Here is some information about the system tools used for the process. Note: Most of these applications are also accesible tableside on the Artis InSpace touch screen Congratulations. You have completed the CLINITEK AUWi System Overview Online Training course. Listed below are the key points that have been presented. Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz. Identify the main components of the CLINITEK AUWi system CLINITEK Atlas system - analyzes samples using dry pad urine chemistry Sysmex UF-1000i system- analyzes urine for sediment analysis and bacteria AUWi track - transports samples from the CLINITEK Atlas analyzer to the Sysmex UF-1000i analyzer Urinalysis WAM software - uses a specialized rules based software that collects data from the CLINITEK Atlas system and Sysmex UF-1000i system Describe the sample processing workflow on the system Samples are loaded onto the track Operator presses the Start button Samples are transported to the CLINITEK Atlas system for analysis Results from the CLINITEK Atlas system are sent to the Urinalysis WAM software Samples are transported to the Sysmex UF-1000i system and are analyzed if required Results from the UF-1000i system are sent to the Urinalysis WAM software Samples are transported to the output queue Select Next to continue.     On the MPR sub task card you can set an individual slice thickness  for the calculated slices by selecting the box labeled "Thick Slices." This function can also be accessed on the previously reviewed Type subtask card by right clicking on the MPR Thick icon The Slice Properties dialog box will appear. The default MPR Thickness corresponds to your defined Voxel size. The CLINITEK AUWi system contains four main components. CLINITEK Atlas Urine Chemistry Analyzer provides: Dry pad urine chemistry technology Automated urinalysis instrumentation High volume testing Sysmex UF-1000i Urine Cell Analyzer provides: Automated urine sediment analysis Automated bacteria detection AUWi Track: Transports samples from the CLINITEK Atlas analyzer to the Sysmex UF-1000i analyzer Urinalysis WAM software provides: Specialized rules based software Data collection for analysis and reporting System Components Learn about the system components.   If the media does not automatically start, select the play arrow to begin. When complete, select the X in the upper-right corner to close the window and continue. The Radial Ranges function creates a series of images with different view directions. The cut or projection planes of the images are rotated through a pivot of a defined angle. To accomplish this: Select the Radial Ranges icon on the Tools Subtask card. The Radial Ranges dialog box appears. Set the AP Spin, AP Tumble, Angle Range, Angle Step and Number of Images (1). Click the Start button (2) to calculate the image range. Return to the Patient Browser to send/export VRT Collection image(s) to network or CD/DVD Remember to Refresh Browser to see updated VRT Radial Collection image. Note: MPR Ranges cannot be loaded onto the 3D task card again. They are intended to be displayed in 2D applications, e.g. in Viewing. Key steps of sample processing on the CLINITEK AUWi system include: Barcoded samples are loaded into the rack sample loading area Samples are transported to the CLINITEK Atlas system for analysis Results from CLINITEK Atlas system are sent to the Urinalysis WAM workstation Samples are transported to the Sysmex UF-1000i system for analysis Results from Sysmex UF-1000i system are sent to the Urinalysis WAM workstation Samples are transported to the output queue Sample Processing Learn about the sample processing workflow.   If the media does not automatically start, select the play arrow to begin. When complete, select the X in the upper-right corner to close the window and continue.
