Current advances in the diagnosis of von Willebrand disease - Webinar

The accurate and timely diagnosis of von Willebrand disease is a challenge for clinicians. Complex algorithms have to be applied before a definte diagnosis can be made. The algorithms are covering the patients bleeding history as well as many laboratory tools. This session includes a presentation on the recently updated guidelines and recommendations as well as a presentation focusing on the laboratory experience with INNOVANCE VW Ac. The assay belongs to the newest generation of VW activity assays (VWF:GbIbM) quantifying the GPIb-binding of VWF in the absence of ristocetin.
