Sysmex® CS-5100 System Sample Processing Online Training

Create work orders, process samples, and identify sample status for accurate and timely patient results using the Sysmex® CS-5100 system Reagent screen software. This clinical laboratory training qualifies for continuing education units (CEU).

Welcome to the Sysmex® CS-5100 System Sample Processing Online Training course. The steps to process samples include: Load samples in a rack Order tests manually or by Host Computer Press Start Select Next to continue.   Identify and resolve three common sample processing errors Identify areas of the Order screen List the steps required to process samples Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: Select Next to continue. Scan parameters for children and adult protocols alike can be found on the Routine and Scan subtask cards in every protocol.  The default parameters are of course subjective – you will typically adapt the Siemens defaults to meet the specific scanning needs of your facility and your physicians.  Then, you can re-save the protocol with a different name as your own customized examination.  Several features here – specifically CARE Dose4D and CARE kV – help to optimize the dose for each individual patient, meaning that critical dose parameters do NOT need to be modified on a patient by patient basis.  This serves to enhance scanning workflow, enable scanning consistency – and automate the dose optimization process.  Let’s take a closer look at these innovative dose reduction features. Congratulations.  You have completed the Sysmex® CS-5100 System Sample Processing online training course.  Listed below are the key points that have been presented.  Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz.
